Busted ACL I busted my knee playing tennis about 2 months ago. I've been getting several different opinions on what i should do. I have a torn ACL (they're not sure if it's complete or partial) and some meniscus damage. Tomorrow i'm going to see a third doctor. one thinks i need surgery and the other simply believes i should go through ultrasound and physio work. the wait is making me really frustrated and anxious. Exercise is one of my major stress-busters and now that i can't do any cardio work i'm perpetually annoyed and depressed. i never realised that this injury could really affect one psychologically. Now i completely understand how a pro athlete feels whenever he or she is injured. i'm an all around athlete: i play most racquet sports, run, play basketball and still want to try anything and everything under the sun. this torn ACL is really getting me down.
