torn cartiledge and dislocations
hi. i slid down at work, and what seemed to be a small fall has now had me down for over a year.i was told i had torn cartilidge in rt knee. i had surgery may 03 seemed to be getting better. while still being treated for back problems with bi weekly injections. my bad knee buckled under me a few times here and there over a yr. dr said that was fine. well in jan 04 i went to bend legs to sit down,right knee just slipped right out like it was knocked from behind, causing my good knee to dislocate. the pain was unbearable. dr said no big deal. well here less than two mo. lter it happened again while just trying to sit down. since the last one both knees hurt terribly. they burn and pop,lock up, throb. i dont know what to do.if the reason my bad knee is giving out is because cartilidge is still torn, then causing the good one to dislocate would this then cause my good knee to have torn something as well? im so sad now, and sore........
