RPPS and ITBS
After finding this site, I am almost glad that I am not one of the only ones that have this problem. But it is also sad too.
Do they have a cure for this? I am 24 years old and have had pain in my knees for almost 2 years. I wasn't overly active in childhood and teenaged years. Then, at 22, I joined the Army. I was starting to have minor pain from the beginning and then I got injured during a road march. After that, I have been in pain varing from discomfort to extreme amounts. Also suffering from reacurring shin splints and multiple stress fractures. Meds do nothing, don't have time for PT due to the scedule I keep and hectic lifestyle. I can't sit for longer than an hour, trying to run even 2 miles puts me in alot of pain especially going up and down hills and stairs. Jumping or bending is bad too, but tolerable. If there is a cure, please someone tell me cause the doctors I have seen have told me all kinds of things; I'm beginning to think they have no idea what this is. I know I don't exactly.
