Just diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter My 13 year old son was just diagnosed today with OSD. He has the large bumps at base of each knee cap. He has an extreme amount of pain in both knees. We were told hang in there for 6 months to one year and it will be over. He was given a stretchy band type thing to wear on each knee right above the bump, it is suppose to help with the pain.
