ACL in Left knee I had an ACl reconstruction in june 2002. I had the patella tendon used, and from that Surgery I had to have 3 other surgeries in a year and half period for cartilidge damage and scarred tissue. I had a lateral release done by a different dr and practice back on november 4th this year. They said my ACL was put in wrong and that was causing my complications. They went in with a scope and said my cartilidge was deteriating, had an excessive amount scarred tissue inside knee, and that they had to try to shave down part the bone for the ACL that was left near surface skin. And plus MY ACL was partway to halfway torn at the time. Before I had this last surgery I went back to the same dr that did the 4 surgeries in the year and half time and he said there was nothign wrong with my knee. At that time I could not walk or anythign without excruciating pain and giving out on me. I finally RUPTURED the acl this past sunday. I go back to my new dr on november 29th to discuss surgery on the ACL and possible CARTILIDGE transplant. Im tired of this. I have not worked in 2.5 years cause of my knee.
